Pauline – end of week 15

How I’m feeling:
I had a period during the week where I felt totally fed up and thought about giving up. I really had to remind myself of the reasons why I am doing this and also how far I have come. Looking back, it was not easy, but I feel back on track now.

Weight loss update:
I lost 0.8kg this week which in total is 15.8 Kilos. I am slowly getting closer to the 2 and a half stone mark.

Biggest challenge in the last week:
Getting through that feeling of chucking it all in and getting myself back on track.

Biggest success in the last week:
I have got myself a new smart watch and I have been setting myself goals each day. One of the biggest goals was to get over 15k step in a day which I was able to do. Funnily enough, I can see that by just being more active I am accumulating the steps without really thinking about it.

Jon – end of week 15

How I’m feeling:
I am feeling a lot less tired than last week since I have made changes to my sleep routine. I have stopped napping after work and heading out for a walk instead – with the result that I am sleeping better through the night.

Weight loss update:
I lost 1.3kg this week so in total 23.8 kg. This means I have now lost just over 3 and half stone

Biggest challenge in the last week:
I had been speaking about going out jogging for a while now but was lacking the motivation to actually do it - but this week I got up bright and early on Friday and went for my first run in about 10 years.  It was tough and I really felt it at the time, but the feeling of accomplishment was fantastic, and I now have the confidence to go out again.

Biggest success in the last week:
Actually, pushing myself to start running again. Next step will be to set myself some running goals!
