Week 19: Pauline & Jon's Weight Loss Diary

Pauline – end of week 19


How I’m feeling:

This week I have struggled a little bit to stay focused on the programme as I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed with everything that I must do for the wedding on top of work and everyday life.

Weight loss update:

I lost 1kg, so to date I have lost 19.4kg and so this is now just over 3 stone.

Biggest challenge in the last week:

I had my first Hen Party this weekend and so I really had to make sure I planned for both on the day itself but also the day after to make sure I didn’t find myself falling into my old habits with food and drink. I surprised myself with how easy it was - just because I had planned ahead!!

Biggest success in the last week: 

Managing to enjoy myself with my friends and then get right back on track after the party on Saturday.

 

Jon – end of week 19

How I’m feeling:

I am feeling surprised at how much I am enjoying the challenge of doing press ups – once I get started, it's not hard to push myself to do them.

Weight loss update:

I have lost 0.6 kilos this week so that brings me to 26.6kg overall which works out at just over 4 stone.

Biggest challenge in the last week:

Pushing myself to do the press up challenge that Dr Sam had recommended as a starting point to build more muscle.

Biggest success in the last week:

The first day I did press ups I managed 5, but now only a week later I am smashing 20 to 25 per day.
